Gabriel is the co-Chief Executive Officer of Havas Digital, the interactive network of Havas Media. As Havas Digital co-CEO, Gabriel leads the Group focusing the efforts on client services, product development and new initiatives in 8 regions: North America, LatAm, APAC, Middle East, and Southern, Northern, Central, Eastern Europe. He joined the company as the country manager for Spain in March 2005 and has been responsible for the growth and leadership of the global operation, as well as the development of the overall media strategy since September 2007. In March 2008 he was appointed COO of Havas Digital, in which he managed all of the Havas Digital media agencies' global businesses (Media Contacts, Lattitud, iGlue, Mobext and One-to-One) ensuring the delivery of integrated communications services with all agencies of the Havas group.
During this period Gabriel has led Havas Digital operations to become the world's third largest digital media group comprising Media Contacts, global interactive media network; Lattitud and IGlue, sister's interactive media networks; Mobext, mobile advertising network; Uncommon, direct marketing specialist in Spain; One to One, specialized CRM solution in Portugal, and highly awarded Archibald, Ingall and Stretton, interactive creative shop in the UK.
Moreover, Havas Digital has expanded its global footprint to operate from 43 cities in 33 different countries across Europe, North America, South America, Asia and Oceania, serving over 600 clients, including the market leaders in many industries such as Air France, Danone, Diageo, Expedia, Fidelity, France Telecom, ING Direct, Nike, Peugeot/Citröen, Repsol, Reckitt Benckiser, Sears, and Vodafone amongst others.
Havas Digital has consistently been present at the major interactive media festivals, winning 73 awards throughout the past two years.
Prior to that, Gabriel spent 7 years in Europraxis, a fast growing Spanish strategy-consulting firm, where he was Principal for the Telecommunication & Media practice.
Gabriel is a MBA by IESE (98), Universidad de Navarra, and has a B.S. in Economics and Business Administration.
Gabriel lives in Madrid with his wife and three kids.
